In their ongoing efforts to expose prison profiteers The ACLU drops facts and we share them today. • In the state newspaper an article by guest columnist Victoria Middleton Millicent brown says: “On this week’s 60th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark Brown vs. Board of Education decision striking down de jur segregation, the school-to-prison pipeline once again is teaching children of color that they are indeed separate and that they are certainly not equal.” We pour salt in that wound with a report on the one person of Color sitting on the CCA board of directors. • Bold Blue Magazine publishes a great story by Madison Paige about the New Abolitionists and the modern Move To Abolish 21st Century Slavery. • In our state by state examination this week we review the Indiana state constitution for slavery language.
